🤣 Being invisible is all hide and no seek.

Thanks, V.

If You Were Invisible - If you were invisible, it would be “hide and seek” all the time.

Frog Adage - That’s why you need to keep a tight grip on the frog whenever you bring it close to water.

We Got A New Color TV! - Aww, I liked this one a lot. It was very sweet and cute.

You Can’t Argue With Science - Food fights with raw vegetables would be so painful!

"If You Were Invisible" — boring, or very, very intense...

"Frog Adage" — reminds me of, "Sometimes you just need to lead the horse to water, but sometimes you have to hold his head under until the bubbles stop going up."

"We Got a New Color TV!" — totally on point! And yes, popcorn + color TV = Good Times!

"You Can’t Argue With Science" — it wastes your time and annoys science... 😉

I wouldn't want to try to hold a horse's head underwater. 🤕

Science won't admit it's wrong. Until you prove it. 🙄

Thanks, Jack. Pass the popcorn.

Hmmm, 1968 and first "large" color TV, a Sony Trinitron - when I was home for the summer from boarding school I had no curfew so got to watch Johnny Carson on nights that I made it home in time 😊. Before then it was a Sony "tummy TV" that was put on the corner of the living room rug and usually four boys and dad would fan out on the floor to watch. Got a loan of a 20" B&W TV to watch the coverage of President Kennedy's assignation 'during supper!!!!' besides all the time anyone was awake. "Everybody else" had big console TV'S - at only one friends house were we allowed to watch Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Micky Mouse Club and maybe The Lone Ranger after school before we got kicked outdoors to play, everywhere else it was a snack then get outside (a box of graham crackers and a quart of milk each day and the two of us were still skinny as rakes besides regular meals😛😛).

Razzing pitchers - a brother used to be great at that when watching a farm team with a pitcher sent down from the majors. Later he tracked down many, became friends with them and worked with them on their pitching and psychology behind their coaches backs including fast balls that would do weird controlled things - try to duck those potatoes 🤪

BRAVO! I would like to confess that our family had the exact same tv as the one in your photo. I would like to, but that would hint at my "certain" age. So I won't! I totally enjoyed that one, Mark.

My grandfather got a color TV years before we did. I still remember the first time I saw the Flintstones in color. It was friggin magical!

My pleasure, Scott. I am sure most of us, of a certain age, had similar experiences. 🤓
