The Open Letter makes me wonder if you've had a pet rabbit? Or been rabbit-adjacent?
"The Town That Jeremy Built" felt familiar for the first half. Was it a revamp? Or did I just forget the second half? Any which way, I liked it — although like Justin, I felt like it was a Part 1. But maybe we'll see more of Jeremy and Jenny in the future? (When they won't be asking weird questions. Probably. 😉)
I have never had a rabbit as a pet. I have had a hamster, which is the same basic concept. Put the poor creature in a cage/aquarium/hutch and look at them occasionally.
Jeremy is an older story from Medium, and I did clean it up a bit. But I didn't change anything major. I just tweaked some of the clunkier sentences. No sequel planned. You can safely assume Jeremy and Jenny married and lived a normal life together, without getting stuck in any more model towns. They did get stuck in Albuquerque once when their flight got cancelled. But that is a pretty boring story. Don't ask about it. Yawn!
I’m happy Jeremy found his way out of the town! For a minute I thought I was reading the first installment of a serialized story. Great stuff as always, Mark.
You have a fun way of thinking.
Thanks, Michele. 🤓
Obsessive writers don’t make good bunny owners. 😉
Was the town “bewitched” or did Jeremy and Jenny have the same dream? I’ll never tell. 🤣
Ohh, poor bunny! It's letter got me "in the feels", so ... well done!
Jeremy's town was an interesting read, and I'm not sure...how did it become "bewitched"? I guess that's my weird question, Lol!

I like the stories. They are cute. I felt for the bunny. Keep writing.
Thank you, Laurel. I plan to keep at it. 🤓
Both great stories on a Monday morning over coffee!, Mark. Poor, poor bunny. I hope his letter triggers a little pity in Ms. Writerscramp.
I loved this line: "If I could, I would put it in your Stats. Then I know you would see it—several times per day."
Rebecca obsessively checks those stats. She would get more love from Fluffy. 🤓
Wait - You're asking questions. Are you from the future? Or someplace even weirder?
I think you already know the answer to that question. 😉
Loved all of this. The wooden town was great. I am amazed by your imagination.
Thanks, Scott. I like to stir the reader's imagination also.
I liked the ending. I was afraid you were going to leave him downtown. Nice story Mark.
That WOOD have been cruel. 🤣
Thanks, Jim.
That ended better than I was expecting. Thanks!
Thanks, Lana. I am glad.

Thanks, Justin. I have a couple of serials coming up, but not this time.
