How I Became A Superhero - Sandwich man! Sandwich man! Does whatever a sandwich can!
What I Learned About The Future From Watching The Twilight Zone - Another point about the future: The United States will be so wealthy that they can afford to put prisoners on asteroids nine million miles from Earth, instead of doing the cheaper thing and putting them in a normal boring prison on Earth.
Years ago, I edited an anthology of time travel stories. I wrote to Rod Serling's wife, Carol, to ask for permission to use The Odyssey of Flight 33 in the anthology. She said, "yes." I was delighted. The Odyssey of Flight 33 is one of my favorite Twilight Zone stories.
Great start to my day! I always loved the Twilight Zone, but it scared the wits out of me. Therefore, I became witless. I am now in the Witless Protection Program. That means I can't write humor, but no one can make fun of me for it. Even if they could find me and rescue me from that painting I am stuck in. They made an episode out of it. Season 39, episode 102.
The Twilight Zone did have some scary episodes. I think the sequel, Night Gallery, was scarier. But I didn’t watch many of them. I am not into horror. The Witless Protection Program made me laugh. And wonder how many portraits are just witless people being protected. 🧐

First Day On The Job - Cute! Good luck, Milo!
Hopefully, Sandwich Man can defeat his arch enemy, Hungry Man.
You never know how illogical things will get when politicians are involved. 😉
I think Milo will be fine. 🙂
Then and forever, The Twilight Zone remains one of my favorite television shows. Probably my favorite.
I loved this set of stories.
Thanks, Bill. The Twilight Zone was one of my favorites also. And I think it had a big influence on my writing.

How cool. There were so many great episodes!
Every kitten, puppy, or small young creature should have a Max.
I agree. We all need mentors. 🐶🐱

Oh no. I had forgotten about Night Gallery. I may never sleep again! So happy I could make you laugh for a change.
You didn't lose all of your wit. 🤓
Max made me laugh. His requests seem pretty reasonable! 🤣
Max the sensible dog. 😂🐶 Thanks, Justin. 😀
