Thanks, Dascha. The Bobby Higgins story was from a LitUp prompt about being mad, so it was definitely not my usual type of story. I like to bring mainly humor and happiness with my writing. I think there is enough sadness in the world (and on the news and social media) already. So I don't usually write or read sad or tragic stories (plus so many other writers do it far better.) But, I will write serious stories or poetry when the right story enters my brain. 🙂
