You picked four winners, Mark. The old guys at the donut shop (so glad you included a donut story) reminded me of some of my old drinking buddies from forty years ago. The Romance Writer is full of truth. How appropriate that Jimmy found happiness in his true self. The ending of The Thinning is right up there with the best sci fi I've read on Substack. Congratulations on four years of publishing on Substack.
Thanks, K.C. I really appreciate your comments. I enjoy writing the old guys. I think we all know some guys like that. Writing The Thinning made me feel like I might actually become a real writer, so I am fond of it.
Congratulations, Mark! And what a lovely selection of your work. I had not seen any of them before. I especially laughed when Jack asked, "Did you live?" And regarding Somnium, I can only say, "It is always something..." Darn it!
Happy fourth! That’s quite the longevity and consistency 💥
Thanks, J&B. 🤓

You should be proud it is a heck of a tale.
Thank you, K.C. 🤓
Congratulations, Mark! Thank YOU for the laughs and quality fiction over the years. Looking forward to the next four!
Thanks, Justin. And thanks for being part of the crew. 🤓
Happy anniversary! The first one gave me a good chuckle.
The truth is funny. 😉🤓
Congratulations.
Thanks, David. And thanks for reading, commenting, and your support. 🤓
Excellent picks, Mark! Cheers on the next four years! 💚
Thank you, Jack. I appreciate you being one the long-timers who comments.

Thank you, Sharron. I appreciate your comments so much.
The four old guys are a lot of fun to write.
Even Utopias have their drawbacks. 😉
