My wife will attest that I have yet to receive my old-age wisdom. The tracking number line is so clever. Mark, I think you received old-age cleverness along with wisdom.

I think you develop wisdom in some areas of life and get stupider in others. Or maybe it's just me. 🤣

I think cleverness and wit is inherited or instinctual, but you can sharpen them over the years. 🤓

I can’t disagree with your analysis, Mark. I’ve always had the habit of twisting words or situations in an attempt at humor. As a youngster in school, it landed me in the hallway more than once.

Lovely, Mark! In the same vein, I recently wrote about my mother's never ending optimism:

“Ma,” I asked her, “what do you think the meaning of life is?” She sat quietly a few seconds. “You know, I have asked myself that question for 96 years. The answer hasn’t come to me yet.” I loved it that she said it hadn’t come to her “yet”. She figured she still had time.
