The pillow case: we used to use them! Your mother couldn't let that bad candy go to waste, could she? I always enjoy your spin on the commonplace, Mark.

Just stating the facts. As I remember them. 🤣

Thanks, K.C.

Haha! I love it. I took a direct approach last night with my kids: “Okay…I really want a couple pieces of candy. What can I have?” 😄

(singing) Ohhh... It's a dentist's life for me!

Thinking back on what I spent on candy, and what I spent on dentists...

Halloween was created by dentists. 🤣🍭🍬

Suspicious if you ask me. I grew up in a different era -- back when parents didn't even know where their kids were most of the time -- just so we were back by dinner time. My mom and dad would go out partying on Hallowe'en and leave us to whatever we wanted to do. They were more into alcohol and revelry than candy... ha ha ha. I heard you were dressing up as Bugs Bunny tonight? Is that true?

What’s up, Doc? My Dad worked afternoons so my Mom was usually home on Halloween and handed out candy. I always went with a friend or two. Good times.

My parents must have not had considerable sweet teeth, then, because I can't remember doing them doing that when I went out. Granted, it's been a long time since I have been out on this night.

I am probably much older than you. It was a 1960s thing. 🤣

I'm a child of the 80s- a lot of things had changed by that point.

Haha! I remember that too… the candy checks from my childhood — to make sure there weren’t pins in the candy? Egads. As a parent I never once worried about that.

We just took any candy the kids didn’t want. Which was usually nothing I liked. But I did buy candy I liked to give away so if there was any extra…

You gotta think ahead. My wife would try to buy stuff I didn’t like and I would say, “wait a minute.” 🤣
