What a note! He put it on the line. A satisfying ending, Mark. The format is fine as long as the installments are short, but you're good at short.

Thanks, K.C. Short is my usual thing. I don't think many people would want a daily 5000-word serial. 🤣

I don't plan on doing it much, but this one seemed like a good candidate.

I enjoyed this, Mark! The definition of short and sweet!

Thank you, Richard. I don’t mind a little sweetness from time to time.

Awww, a perfect ending. I loved the idea of a story within a story. I am a sucker for happily-ever-after. ( Not to the Hallmark degree ( euw!) , but I do love a solid, anticipated kiss.) Beautiful, Mark!

Thank you, Sharron. I love a happy ending, also. As always, I appreciate you reading and commenting. 🤓

I liked it personally. I've even written my own a while back, but it needs to be revised. Anyway, great job, 8 lived the story!

Thank, Kim. I think the daily serial format gives readers something to look forward to. And I get to enjoy comments longer. 🤣🤓

Yes, and we ALL have time to read a page. Five pages at once is harder to commit to. I hate to say it, but the long stories end up on the back burner for a while.

I think that is the way of things for many people. With this format, you don't have to wait long for the next part. Or you can wait until the end and "binge-read" it.

A perfect balance - for ME, anyway.

Great. I would rather please regular readers than critics.
