I was thinking maybe Melissa was going to have her memories erased as well, and then they both meet "for the first time." However, I liked how this ended. It was charming and hopeful.

That would have worked also. Thanks, C.

Hmmm the concept of a do over... But then my life would have taken a different turn and I may not have survived... Yeah, the good and the bad and the darn right awful but I have survived.... Hmmm sounds like it could be a good song 😛

Yup. There is always a chance that a "do-over" might be worse.

1.). Memory Adventures' address, please. I have a couple of memories I'd like expunged. Is there a "Donate" door? I don't want to buy or sell, I just want them gone.

2.) Also, is there a system for erasing vivid memories of things that never even happened? For someone with an imagination such as mine, that could be a real relief.

Turn right at the stop sign and go 35 years into the future. You can't miss it. 🤣

I have been erasing memories for years without even trying, just by getting older. But the bad ones seem to be the most stubborn.

I’m not sure…

I kinda like my memories. They give me stuff to write about. 🤔

Talk about a do-over . . .

Wouldn’t we all love a do-over for something in our lives!

Indeed, but I'd prefer to keep my memories. They are a huge part of who I am.

I am going to guess that you have NOT seen the movie “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”? Similar starting premise, but it went in a different direction. Yours is much more Markish (you sentimental romantic!).

Oh, Jack! I love the adjective "Markish". We all know exactly what that means, don't we?

I can't remember if I saw it or not. The poster looks familiar. I do remember seeing The Truman Show.

Maybe I did, and that's where the idea came from?
