People I Used To Know - Cookie would also crumble under pressure, but he was very sweet.
Now That Would Impress Me - If a boy from Idaho threw a potato so hard that it landed in Ireland, it would no longer be a potato. It would become french fries. Or Ireland fries?
The Rapper And The Rancher (Part 2) - Brandon is absolutely not a song writer, but there are professionals who’ve done worse.
All three pieces gave me a good laugh. Looking forward to the next installment to see how things progress! I’m thankful our friend won’t be writing any more songs, haha! Too funny. 😄
"The Rapper And The Rancher - Part 2" — I don't "hear" music when there's no audio for the lyrics (I know some people can) but those country lyrics felt more like rap... and I can't do rap! So Part 3 will be an interesting meeting of worlds, I suspect...
That's awesome! My guitar is collecting dust. Just a lil Washburn I modded with an acoustic pickup but it will do the trick whenever I feel the urge, need to change the strings though.
Well teaching guitar beats loading airplanes. Which was my job for 27 years. But it is a good thing my wife works. 🤣 I have been to Paris once. I wouldn’t mind doing a gig there. 🤓
It does Beat It! Now I have to figure out a similar arrangement and focus solely on writing! ;D A *virtual* gig in Paris can be arranged. Plenty of cross-post opportunity I dare say.
That, my friend, is the dream! I tried to make a living singing (and playing guitar) but didn't get far, Jimmy quit... err I mean Bodo. Studied Finance instead... If you ever want to guest play over at dem Tales: "Live from Paris" :)
The jokes were a little corny, but funny. I like this story a lot. I imagine that's how a lot of singer "wannabe's" end up in Nashville. Looking forward to the next installment.

Good ones about cookie.
UFP. Unidentified Flying Potato.
No doubt.
I had a nickname as a take on my initials - Chocolate Chip Cookie, it's gone by the wayside as chocolate started giving me migraines 😢🍪
Now that is an impressive throw... 😝
Another fix of the musical wannabes 😊🎸. Will they become a new sensation or...
Bummer on the chocolate.
Indeed.
The anticipation is killing me. Wait, I already know. 🤣

Thanks, Justin. That song was really bad. But fun to write! 🤣
And a lot of fun to read! I was cracking up. 🤣
I'm glad. Keep it à la mode 😉
Oh yea, I gotta see what happens next! Loved the small stories too!
Thanks, Kim. I am glad the story is keeping you engaged. I always add some "shorts."

Dad joke. You're welcome.
Country music has become a mix of most genres now. Just add a bit of country flavor and have a "country" voice singing.
Are you going to do an audio version? That could be fun, too. Looking forward to the next part!
Thanks, Alex. That would be cool.
I did one story that I narrated and added music that I played (and background restaurant ambience.)

Do more of this!

My band livestreams on TikTok and Facebook. We get viewers from around the world. It is very cool.

I don't really use TikTok but you're my first follow! Gives me a reason to use it! :) Also reminds me to post the S-Zer0 teaser there...
I teach guitar and bass for a living. So I play a lot. 🤣

My newsletter has more corn than the Nebraska State Fair. Yup, Nashville is where singers and songwriters go now. If they can make it there...
A trifecta of ticklers! Thanks Mark!
Thanks, 3. I tri-ed. 😉🤣
🙌🏼Well done!
