Music may not be classified as a language, per se, but it definitely speaks. It shouts, whispers, rages, soothes, excites! Every emotion humanly possible can be expressed in music. Don't you think?
I never had the discipline to learn how to play a musical instrument, let alone learn how to read and write music. I agree that music is a language. So is mathematics. I'm pretty illiterate there, too.
I never got beyond the bare essentials when I started learning the accordion when I was a wee fellow. But I love music, especially classical music. It hits me somewhere beyond intelligence.

I totally agree. Music is emotion translated into sound. There is nothing else quite like it. To me it’s magic.
I agree
you are awesome with your second language, you speak volumes
Thanks, Mom.

Yes, you have to really want to play an instrument to put in the countless hours required to get good at it. But it is worth it.
I made it to Algebra 2 in High School, and my math knowledge ended there.
Allegro molto, Mark! Keep the music going.
Thanks, Rebecca. 🤓🎵🎶🎸🎹

I can’t imagine life without music. It is one of the few magics left in the world.
