promise to not eat any bark pizza, will just go to Mod's Enjoyed meeting all your friends Be careful in the woods, You probably gave Belinda a scare when you told her about the bear. Your writing amazes me. Don't stop
I appreciate the pizza advice. Whacky, but duly noted. I cracked up at the name Shirley Knott. I'd like to write a story about her myself!. That writer in the woods? With all the persiflage ( to quote Terry Freedman) I suspect he is really just trying to get away from his wife for a while. So far so good.
“I Have A Friend Named…” — Did this take a long time to tweak and finalize, or did it just flow out of your mind? It seems like the kind of work where one name just leads to the next, and most of the work is looking at a verse and thinking, “Mmmm, yeah, no, bye.”
Making up names with another meaning is a way I used to amuse myself as a kid. So it was really just finding things that rhymed and made sense. Pure silliness, obviously.
I knew a guy in the navy, Wye Not. I think the recruiter just asked his name and . . .
Alot of fun Mark! 😅 Our dogs do like the bark pizza-sorry!🙄
Didn't he date Bea Cause?
Dogs will eat almost anything. 🤣
Thanks, Mud.
Thanks, Mom. I have no plans to stop writing. 🤓

Love it all ... but the 'Dearest Belinda' letter is fabulous
Thank you. I think the writing cabin dream is common for writers. 🤣
I often feature them in our weekly newsletter ... Ignant Magazine has a treasure trove archive full of them!
I can't say I've ever ordered pizza and had them be out of dough and offer bark. Should I count myself lucky? ;)
That’s weird. It happens to me all the time. 😉
There is a local TV reporter here in SW Florida named Justin Case.
I think his cousin is named Justin Time.

"persiflage" Where is that dictionary? 🤣
There is a Shirley Knott in every town. Often several!
I think William is enjoying his solitude a little too much. 🤣
Actually, the man writing about the pond (named Henry) did okay. More so after he was dead, though...
Yeah, that "fame after death" thing is a drag. 🤣
I love how your mind works. Those character names are a hoot!
I am a victim of silly names addiction. I can't shake this monkey on my back. 🤣
My mama went to school with a girl named Ima Hogg. Not kidding.
I believe it. Cruel parents! I went to school with a girl named Crystal Chandelier. Or did I make that up? I can't remember.
I didn't know where you were going with "Ida Hoh." Nice save.
Could be worse. Could be Ima Hoh.
I don't write those kind of stories. 🤣
You are such a bad boy.
Thanks, Jim. She has another friend named Dela Ware who just got a New Jersey. 😉

It seems William can't see the forest for the trees?
No doubt! I don’t think Belinda will be pleased. 🤣
