Thanks, Jill. It's good to leave slivers of our hearts as we go.

Touched me deeply.

When I worked in kindergarten and fearlessly led 20+ little ones to the playground we often chanted:

Going on a bear hunt, but we’re not afraid…

Oh no! A mountain!

Can’t go over it, can’t go under it, can’t go through it…

We’ll have to go around it!

You go around quite amazingly Mark!

Thanks, 3. We all have to find our own path. Then learn to appreciate it. 🤓

"Each note a stepping stone"...."Each word a stepping stone"....

This piece is such a lovely encapsulation of a whole life, and, seriously, Mark, many more than a few wander by and enjoy your offerings. I often hear people say that age is only a number, it means nothing, but I think age is everything. It contains everything we've ever done, seen, been, felt, and allows us to write thoughtful words such as these.

So true. Our life experiences make us who we are. And provide the gift of memories. And as anyone of a certain age knows, the journey, not the destination, is the best part.

Thank you, Sarron. I always appreciate you reading and responding.

So few of us reach the top of the mountain, but the climbing--there's the challenge!

Exactly. The climb/journey is what it is really about. And so many miss it by being too focused on the destination. Thanks, Richard.
