Stopping Time - Thanks for ruining my dream of having superpowers, MOM 😤
Unending - These moments may be fleeting, but it’s better than never experiencing them.
Rubber Trees And Ships - But imagine if they could just bounce off! That would be amazing! Unstoppable, unsinkable ship!
You’re Not Lost, You’re In Hugsville - This was such a sweet and comfy story. You’ll never find a place like Hugsville if you don’t go on adventures sometimes!
Unending contains a lot of Truth. It's a keeper. Loved the sentiment contained in Hugsville. I've decided to read less news and more Monday Morning Mark!
No doubt! I will have to ask Bill, but I think the shortcut only works if you start in Hugsville. 😉
My wife and I hiked Garden of the Gods one day and then the next day, took the cog train up to Pike's Peak and rode bicycles down. Pretty awesome two days in Colorado Springs.
On road trips, I was the self-designated keeper of the map. I'd pour over the AAA trip-tych and make announcements of upcoming tourist traps. The family would debate interest in visiting vs time it would take from the daily schedule toward our destination.
Also, when using your GPS map app, don’t pay attention to the spelling, state, or distance to your destination. “Traffic is light. It will take 7 hours, 42 minutes to reach your destination. Ferry toll required.”

The rubber tree ship was a great idea, I thought.
Don’t we all want to visit Hugsville?

Thanks, K.C!
Nothing like the news or social media to ruin your day. 🤓
Hugsville!!! So sweet and touching!
Thanks, Emily. It is a beautiful place. 🤓
Loved the poem and the story! Great blend of serious and humorous. Both ring true.
Thanks, Pearl. I enjoy variety. I am glad you do also. 😀
But seriously, all the 'time' material meshed beautifully.
It was timely, eh? 🤣
As someone who lives in Colorado Springs and recently returned from Grand Junction, there is money to be made from this shortcut

Great stuff, Mark!
Thank you, John. I always value your comments. 🤓
These all worked together so beautifully. Love it.
Thanks, John. I put a lot of thought into what stories to include in each issue, so I appreciate it. 😀
Your comments on GPS really touched me.
Well, we remember the days of maps and getting lost. 🤣

I don’t know of any desert so close to Denver, but that’s still pretty remarkable lol
He knew a shortcut from Utah. 🤣🤣
Please show me!
🤣 I have made that drive. From Moab to Colorado Springs. No shortcuts that I know of. 🤔
What a great blend of your work today. “Unending” is an absolute gem!
Thanks, Justin. I was not too sure about including that. It is not my usual content. But I did anyway. 🙂
💚💚💚 for “Unending”!

I am so over road trips. 🤣 More than a couple hours drive is too much for me.
