Thank you Justin. I kind of based it on my oldest Grandson. I used to watch him three days per week, during the day, until he went Kindergarten. We used to take bread to the pond every day after lunch because, as he said, "Ducks need to eat also." 🙂
Thanks, John. Marshmallows are better for dropping on people's heads from dirigible airships than eating, in my opinion. The philosophy of fiction being real is a tough one to grasp until you apply it to Winnie-the-Pooh. Then it makes sense (at least to me.) 😉🤣
“The Boy and the Duck” was such a sweet story. I loved it.

Aww, that’s the best. I wondered if this was a possibility. It makes the story even better!
Yeah. Those were good times. He is 15 now. 🤣
🤣🤣
I went to a Winnie-the-Pooh exhibition last year and I learned that he is in fact real!
Him and all the other characters were based on the author’s son’s toys. Maybe everyone knew this already but I had no idea 😅
I did know that. But I think he is even more real than a toy thanks to the books. He is real in our hearts and minds. 🤓
Beautiful stories, Mark. You knocked it out of the park today. Never loved marshmallows so much as in your stories.
I used to puzzle my kids with the statement: 'Just because its not real, doesn't mean its not true.'

"If you’re going to get all hysterical, at least control your emotions" made me laugh for five nonstop minutes.
Thanks, Bill. It's a hard lesson to learn. 🤣
#4 made me smile, Mark, but for some reason “The Boy and The Duck” got me misty-eyed. Just a perfect little circle of life.
Thanks, Jack. That was exactly what I was going for. 🙂
I can always count on you to make me smile on Mondays. And yes, never say that to your wife.
Thanks, Cyn. Your comments make me smile. 🙂
