Your monday morning thoughts are still just as good on a Thursday. Thanks for the history on Jenny Lind, I've been wondering about her since The Greatest Showman came out but not enough to look up the history. You saved me some work.
Did not know this - Once recovered, she toured Denmark, where Hans Christian Anderson met her and fell in love. Jenny didn’t return his feelings and rejected him as a suitor. She is believed to have inspired three of his fairy tales: Beneath The Pillar, The Angel, and The Nightingale.
Ok the potato story is like reading about EXACTLY how my mind works. Every time my husband asks what I’m thinking, I’m like “uh.. just wondering whether there are only six people who attend that tiny church and they are all friends and they share their priest with the next town and on Sundays he walks from town to town through the Alps holding nothing but a bible giving tiny sermons in tiny churches and the women all invite him over for quiche afterward but he’s really full from all the other masses he attended that day and all the other quiches he’d been plied with.” (actual example from this week.)
Thanks, Dascha. Jenny Lind was a happy accident. The more I read about her, the more interesting she became. Her real life was way better than my little story.
Really loved reading it .
Thanks, Koffee. I appreciate it. 😀

I have not seen that movie. It was totally by accident that I learned about Jenny Lind. No wonder so many people knew about her. I had no clue. 🤣

It was surprising to me also. What a life she must have had.
"When you are old,
you realize the chase was the best part." ~ Waiting for that day. ;)
You still have a long wait. 🙂

That would be a great story, by the way!
It must be boring to think like normal people. 🤣
Every story today was fun! I really appreciated learning about Jenny Lind, as well. Thanks for researching her and sharing!

As for chasing dreams, I'll tell you what that is. True. Well put.
Thanks, John. The "dream" often doesn't live up to our expectations either. At least, not for long.
I've discovered that 'waking up' is a sure cure.
🤣 You dreamer.
I'm not the only one...
Bears, sharks, snakes, moose with big antlers. That's why I like living in a city.
Great Monday Morning Mark, as always.
Thanks, Bill. The city has its own dangerous wildlife. 😉
