I, too, was sad Stroller never tried to fly, but grateful she pilots a beautiful hot air balloon. We see many in Arizona.

More to come. My wife and I took a hot air balloon ride in Albuquerque a few years ago. One my favorite things I have done. I loved it!

Yard Work Dreams - I would accept any reason to receive $50 each time I did chores.

Crying Time - Poor alarm clock.

The Bird Who Was Afraid To Fly - I expected the bird to eventually learn how to fly of her own accord, but I really enjoyed this whimsical twist. So charming!

Aww love the bird story so much. Anxious to see if she truly learns to fly. By the picture she's a bluebird, one of my many favorites. Thankyou Mark, so enjoyable to read, i felt like I was there.

Thanks, Jack. It must be awfully dull to be an alarm clock.

Love all of these, Mark! I’m a sucker for a good personification and the bird story was super fun and had great vivid imagery. I could see the whole thing in my head and that’s not always easy for me. Thanks for sharing and for a fun start to the day!

Thank you, Thomas. I like to engage my readers imaginations. Which is why I don't go into exhaustive detail in my writing. I like to allow the reader to picture things their own way. 😀
