I will argue in favor of the novella until the day I die, but Photo Jumper is perfect for the novella length (~18k-40k words). And also a series wherein your protagonist has misadventures. Really enjoyed the concept.

Wonderful set of work, as always! Really enjoyed "Photo Jumper" and would like to add my voice to the 'part 2' chant!

Great stuff all around, Mark. “Perspective” stood out to me - loved it!

Bad Craft Idea - Even if you didn’t have to worry about squirrels while wearing your bird feeder helmet, you’d still have to worry about bird poop.

Perspective - In life it is good to have both perspectives. Enjoy the wonders of nature but be wary of bears.

The Photo Jumper - “My next photo jump was quite different…” Please tell me there’s going to be a part 2!

I enjoyed your story and hope this does become a series. It left me waiting for the next adventure.

I hate squirrels who jump into photos and end up in my forest.

“Bad Craft Idea” — wearing a hummingbird feeder also attracts wasps. Something that never gets mentioned in catalogs. 😫

“Perspective” — I’m forwarding this to Gail Boenning, it fits her perfectly.

“The Photo Jumper” — looking forward to chapter 2.

Excellent post. I loved "Perspective"., I see the wonders of nature myself.

I really enjoyed the Photo Jumper. I have looked at photos often and wondered what it would be like to go back to that time. I liked the scene of young Sebastian with is mother. Hopefully we will see what happens next to him.
