Thanks, Richard. I wanted that 40s and 50s noir, but I didn't want to do detective stories. So I made Max a newspaper reporter. This allows him to engage in some detective work/reporting and get into interesting situations. I also wanted it to be humorous.
These two are good foils for each other! I like the interaction and dialogue.
