A nice sound, Mark! Appreciate you unpackaging the mystery of that process. The melodic works as well as the accompaniment voice. I'm finding poetry is working similarly for me; in a given mood it seems to flow out. Kudos to you for stepping out with your music and words. We are benefitting!
Cool story, Mark. As a long-time now-and-then songwriter, I agree there's a big mystery about the process. I've experienced so many different ways that songs come to life (including the time 30 years ago when I woke up with a seven-verse song fully complete from a dream!) that I never know for certain how things will unfold. Your song is fun and simple, and I really like it.
