The Long And Winding Road
On his 18th birthday, John walked to the end of his neighborhood. He found a road that wasn’t there the day before. Curious, John began to walk.
The road was winding, and he couldn’t see where it led. He continued anyway. At the end, a sign said, “ That’s Life.”
Grandpa Shows Emma His Garden
“And this is the very spot where I planted the magic beans.”
“Really?”
“Yup.”
“And they grew into a giant beanstalk that stretched up to the clouds. And you climbed it and found a giant, right?”
“No, giants are just in fairytales.”
“Well then. What did you find?”
“A Walmart.”
Valentine Loses His Shine
Jerry Valentine wrote cards for Hallmark. Naturally, he took a lot of ribbing for his name. But Jerry didn’t mind. Until his girlfriend dumped him on Valentine’s Day.
Jerry went to a bar. A lonely woman sat by him and asked his name. He cringed.
“Valentine. Yours?”
“Happy.”
Water Rise
Jim had hacked his way through the thickest jungle he had ever encountered. He was sure no man had ever gone this deep into the wild.
The jungle opened up into a valley. A stream crossed the valley and, upon reaching the middle, rose straight up into the sky. He could not see the top of the unnatural water rise.
Suddenly, Jim had to pee.
That’s Weird
Kevin and Sandy met in Kindergarten.
In third grade, Sandy told Kevin she liked him. “That’s weird,” he said.
In Jr. High, Kevin noticed that Sandy was suddenly less weird.
In High School, they dated.
In college, they married.
The rest of their lives, they grew weirder together. That’s love.
Thanks for reading and responding. You make it fun.
