Thoughts On Winter
From a former Michigander
I am originally from Michigan.
Where locals like to say, “We get nine months of winter and three months of bad sledding.”
I know all about cold temperatures, and just because I moved south, it doesn’t mean I don’t like cold weather.
I still like the cold.
When it stays up north.

We drove up to the Motherland (Brooklyn, NY) yesterday. I went to move the car at 6:30 this morning (NY ritual), and it’s 11 degrees outside. NC made me forget that there is such a thing as 11 degrees! It’s damn cold!
