Primates were the first Earth species in space. Long before man ever ventured beyond the safety of Earth’s lower atmosphere, monkeys were hurtling through space on rockets. Scientists interested in studying the biological effects of space travel commonly used primates to conduct these experiments.
In 1948, a rhesus monkey named Albert rode 39 miles on a V-2 Rocket. Over the next 20 years, the United States launched more than a dozen monkeys, two chimpanzees, two dogs, and several mice into space on various rockets.
The United States was not alone in sending animals into space. The Soviet Union/Russia, France, China, Argentina, and Iran have all sent various animals into space.
Most humans think we were the only ones sending monkeys into space. But my exhaustive study of primates has proven this assumption wrong.
Actually, other planets, millions of light-years away, have been sending monkeys to our planet for centuries to observe humans. These space monkeys are virtually indistinguishable from Earth monkeys with one exception. They have a tiny transmitter chip embedded in their body that sends information back to their home planets.
While humans are easily fooled by space monkeys, Earth monkeys are not so easily duped. Which is why, if you watch a group of monkeys, you will notice that they are constantly checking each other for transmitter chips.

Thanks for reading and responding. You make it fun.

Looks like the one monkey may have a chip on his shoulder. Gotta watch out for that one!
Another mystery solved! You are amazing, Mark. Thank you for improving my education. There is still so much to learn.
