Driving Tip
If you drive down a desert road in a truck hauling a flatbed trailer loaded with 10,000 unwrapped butter sticks,
you can feel fairly confident that nobody is going to pass you.

I’m A Spanish Sensation
In Spain
Not many people in the United States know that I am an international superstar in Spain. They love me. Honestamente. I actually go by the name “Marcos” over there. Sort of like “Elvis” did here.
Since you probably haven’t heard it unless you live in Spain, I thought I would share the lyrics from my new hit single, appropriately titled “Spain.”
I won’t swim to Spain
That would be insane
Nor will I take a train
Even if it has a drain
I might consider a ship
But it’s a really long trip
Probably better to fly
And stay nice and dry
Spain, Spain, Spain
You’re calling to my brain
Madrid, Madrid, Madrid
I see what you did
España, España, España
Voy a llegar mañana
If you would come along too
I know just what we’d do
We’d head out to the plains
To see where it mainly rains
Then play flamenco guitar
On the roof of the car
And eat some Spanish rice
Wouldn’t that be nice?
Unless you bit something hard and your tooth came loose
There’s no tooth fairy in Spain, sí, that’s the truth
Just a tooth mouse named Ratoncito Perez
But you might get some euros if you do what he says
Spain, Spain, Spain
You’re calling to my brain
Madrid, Madrid, Madrid
I see what you did
España, España, España
Voy a llegar mañana

Did you know that it is crazy expensive to hire a lawyer in Madrid to enforce copyright? This is why you can get t-shirts with my song’s lyrics on them throughout Spain. Although they lose a little flavor in translation.
So instead of suing people who use the lyrics on t-shirts, I ask them to make me a Spanish omelet (tortilla española) instead of payment. It has worked out well. Although I am getting a little tired of eggs. I’ll probably switch to paella soon for some variety.
Adiós amigos.
Doodle
Reunion Of Friends
When old friends get together, time melts away.
Occasionally, I like to doodle on my iPad or computer. This is one of those doodles.
This was a common sight for me when I worked at the airport. I always enjoyed seeing the reunions.

A Long Anticipated Day At The Beach
Spring was in the air. The temperatures were getting warmer, and the days were getting longer. Soon the beaches would be full of young couples and happy children.
Hope and Keen had wed in the winter. It was a practical and financial decision. Their love was strong, and they were eager to start a family.
They booked a room at the beach soon after the wedding. Finally, the week had come. Hope and Keen made sure their house was in order and packed all the supplies they needed for the trip. Then they set off on their joyful adventure.
Soon they arrived at the beach. The sand mounds were already starting to form. As the days passed, the mounds grew larger.
Hope and Keen spent all day waiting by their chosen mound. Then on their fifth day there, the sand mound burst open, and a beautiful little girl popped out.
Joy filled Hope and Keen’s heart as they finally met their new daughter. Keen gently washed the child and clothed her. He smiled at Hope and handed her the child. They had already chosen a name, Sandy.
In keeping with the law on planet Shorelife, Hope and Keen would not return for two years when they would be allowed to await another child.

Happy Monday. Thanks for reading and responding. You make it fun.

A Long Anticipated Day At The Beach - I love how much wondrous imagination you poured into this story.
Driving Tip - This story reminds me of a short song I heard. “Truck I don’t trust” https://www.youtube.com/shorts/MWrOgpwIjE0
I’m A Spanish Sensation - Nice song, Marcos.
Reunion Of Friends - Aww. Reunions are sweet, especially when it’s been a while since you’ve seen the person.
A Long Anticipated Day At The Beach - Oh this is a very neat concept! Sand babies! Quite a bit could be done for the world building of this concept. If you try to dig up the mound early, would the baby come out premature or just turn back into sand? Are there twins in this universe, and if so then do they come out of the same mound? How much does it cost to go to this beach? If it’s very expensive, do people try to illegally dig up babies? Very interesting!
