Kent normally painted the browns and oranges of the Arizona desert. When he saw the beautiful greens and blues of the Slate River Passage, he had to paint it. Kent got out his paints and easel and got busy. He was so inspired he didn’t hear the bear behind him.

Last mile and every muscle in his tired body screamed at him to stop. The memory of his deceased brother athlete, a marathon champion, spurred him on. He was the last competitor to finish. To compete with world renowned sportsmen and represent the autism fraternity made him beam with pride.
