Things are not what they seem on this tropical island
“This is going to be a hard pill to swallow, but this isn’t really Gilligan’s Island. It’s a television set in Los Angeles. Gilligan—and the rest—are actors. They are just pretending. And we are extras.”
[A long silence while the young money considered what he had learned.]
“Is that why they didn’t take some wood from the ship’s cabin, patch the hole in the side of the boat, and leave?”
“That’s right, son. I’m afraid there is more bad news. The show just got canceled. We have to leave.”
[Another silence.]
“Well, I still think Mary Ann is hot. For a human.”
“Her name is Dawn.”
“Hollywood sucks.”
