Issue 200!
I published my first Substack newsletter in August of 2020. It was called Monday Morning Mark at the time. Later, I changed the name of my Substack to Mark Starlin Writes!, but I continued to post a Monday Morning Mark issue every week. Here we are, 200 issues later. Thanks for joining me on this adventure.
For fun, I have included that very first newsletter at the bottom.

Moments Before The Heist
“And you’re sure it’s coming today?”
“Yeah, yeah. I saw her tracking it on her laptop. Five Family Size bags of Oreos.”
“Alright. When the Amazon truck arrives, you start jumping on the trampoline to distract her, and I’ll grab the box off the front porch.”

The 30-Foot Tall Stick Day
Today was a weird day.
I went for a walk and saw a gigantic 30-foot-tall stick sticking straight up out of the ground.
I thought, How did that get there?
But that wasn’t the weirdest part.
The weird part was the stick was shaped exactly like a telephone pole.
Weird.

Happy Monday. Thanks for reading and responding. You make it fun.

Suspicions confirmed. Mark Starlin has been just slightly tweaked from the onset... So glad you stayed around until I found you Mark. It has been a pleasure getting to know you in all your oddness. Congratulations on 200 posts! And thanks for the idea of ordering my oreos from Amazon! Never thought of that, but their plain brown wrappers would surely keep the neighbors from knowing.
