So it’s your first Super Bowl Party? How exciting! Here’s something you should know before you go.

It is customary for first-time Super Bowl party attendees to bring a bag of pretzels with them, walk to the center of the room, tear open the top of the bag, hold it over their head, and spin around in a circle until all the pretzels fly out while shouting “Let’s get salty.”

It’s one of those weird football things people expect.

Then, they will all show you what a major league tackle feels like.
