"The Tale Of The Memory Tree" is a good addition to your Gentle Tales, as I think of them; in the tradition of the Baron Britpop and Elise Boissonneau series. I would gift a book of Gentle Tales to our youngest niece (or oldest grandniece) if one became available. {*hint*}
The Tale Of The Memory Tree
I like this line from the story: "I figured I had seen all the usual things I cared to see. A strange thing or two might be a nice change."
And I liked the plot of the story, especially the appearance of the Forgetfulness Tree. It added a nice twist.
Alas, 'tis sad for rhyming fools
Should never join in word-filled duels
To do so must be quite absurd
The author gets the final word.
Also, I was going to comment on The Tale of the Memory Tree, but I forgot.

This was a fun set of stories.
Awww, he forgot the memory tree... I love your photos! They add so much to the stories!
